Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is a child of an ethnically diverse family in South London in England. Her father is Nigerian-Swiss while her mother was English. She grew up in a south London council estate, and went to The Brit School at age fourteen. She attended an academy called the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London where she gained an BA in acting. While at school she appeared in numerous stage plays, including the King Henry V's Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe first began her acting career with Storm Damage. In the years since, she's had guest appearances in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her breakthrough role came in 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was co-starring Colin Farrell (who played the part of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. After the film's success, Madekwe played Elisha in her role on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN as well as on six of the episodes Trexx as well as Flipside. In 2008 she landed Bambi's role on ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. She appeared in both series 2 and 3. Madekwe was also a part of 2008's comedy How to Alienate and Lose Friends. The credits on stage for Madekwe are Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe had her official US debut in the 2009 Drama series The Beautiful Life, which just aired two episodes on The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge as of February 2011. Following her appearance as a regular on the first two seasons it was reported in late May 2013 that Madekwe was set to leave the show after a guest appearance in the first episode of the third season. Madekwe starred as Tituba on the show Salem between 2014 and the year 2016. Madekwe, her long-time companion, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. Together, they worked on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He also played with her on Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with a huge family. Her parents, Roy and Patty and her brothers Brett, Todd, and Bram, were all present. Ashley's four brothers, who were all extremely active, took part in hockey in the winter and baseball during the summer, so she basically grew up in baseball and arenas. Ashley couldn't walk, however she was able to dance. In the end, at the age of 2 She discovered Baby Ballet. This was the beginning of Ashley's interest in dance. Ashley was a dancer who competed throughout the various categories until the time she graduated from high school. The competitions she participated in included jazz, tap, ballet, pointe and the acrobatics. The major dance festivals, like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which have awarded her the honor of "top Soloist".
