Salma Hayek
Salma Hayek Pinault, born Salma Valgarma Jamesenez on September 2, 1966 is an American and Mexican actor and producer. She began her career in Mexico with her starring role in the Telenovela Teresa (1989-1991) as well as the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) for which she won an Ariel Award nomination. With appearances in films like Desperado (1995), From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999) and Dogma (1999) She quickly established herself as a leading actress in Hollywood. Hayek's role as Frida Kahlo as a painter in Frida (2002), a biographical documentary she made which earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[66. In addition, she received her Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award as well as British Academy Film Award nominations. The following years, Hayek focused more on making films, while also starring in action-oriented films like Once Upon a Time in Mexico
